At Leading Edge Senior Care, our extraordinary caregivers are significant members of our team in delivering our service commitment to our clients. Our top priority is excellence in care.  You and your loved ones should have the very best care, brought to you by a loving, patient and responsible caregiver dedicated to your comfort and wellness.
To ensure you receive the highest-quality home care possible, we put all caregiver applicants through our 6 Step Hiring Process screening after we receive their complete application.
Our 6 Step Hiring Process:
Step 1: Phone Interview
Before we even meet with prospective caregivers, we conduct an extensive phone interview. How the caregiver communicates verbally is an important early indicator of whether he or she is the right fit for us.
Step 2: Face-to-Face Interview
We personally meet with and interview every applicant. During this screening step, we consider communication skills, presentation and experience. All caregivers must demonstrate compassion and a verifiable, consistent history of work as a caregiver.
Step 3: Skills Assessment
The prospective caregiver will be assessed on his/her knowledge and skills.  Each candidate will take multiple skills assessments/tests.
Step 4: Experience Verification
Home care employment references are verified. What past employers have to say about a perspective employee is very important.  A minimum of two – three industry-specific employment references will be verified.
Step 5: Background Check and Screenings
For all caregiver applicants, these screenings are performed:  Social Security validation, E-verify, MVD checks, drug testing, background checks at the federal, state and county level, in addition each caregiver will need to have a fingerprint card or the ability to obtain one.
Step 6: Orientation, Training, and Continuing Education
Once all of the prior requirements have been met, our caregivers will complete our orientation/training. This includes an introduction to our culture, our standards, policy and procedures.  Caregivers will complete the CareAcademy training and attend additional training throughout the year.  All employees must be CPR/First Aid certified.
We follow this hiring process so we can provide clients with compassionate, qualified caregivers who truly are committed to excellence. If you are seeking a compassionate, qualified caregiver Call Us Today!
