Leading Edge Senior Care provides transportation for seniors
Our trained transportation specialists/caregivers are available to provide transportation and, if needed, accompany you to medical appointments, surgical procedures, personal errands, and any other destination you choose—providing safe, courteous, and dependable service every step of the way.
This is a helpful service for seniors who only need assistance with getting to places.
How it works:
- Once the transportation service is set up, you let us know when you need a ride and one of our transportation specialist will be there that day to take you.
- If you don’t know when you will need transportation, then you would call our office to schedule transportation as needed. We prefer 48 hours’ notice, but emergencies do arise so we will try to meet your needs.
- On the day of your transportation, the transportation specialist will arrive promptly at your home. She will assist you to the vehicle, if needed, and put any mobility device you have into her car.
- The transportation specialist will stay with you, then take you home once you are done.
Example: for doctor’s appointments, she will walk you in then can either wait in the waiting area or she can accompany you to your appointment and take notes, so you have the information after the appointment.
Example: If the transportation specialist is taking you to the grocery store, she will walk through the store with you and assist as needed. Once home, she will unload the groceries and can put them away for you.
